Die chronische Unterversorgung macht sich besonders in produktreichen Umfeldern wie der Küche bemerkbar, wo Einbausysteme dafür sorgen, dass Putzzeug, Geschirr und Lebensmittel aus Sichtweite verschwinden. Der niederländische Fotograf Erik Klein Wolterink blickt in seiner Serie Keukens hinter die furnierten Fronten verschiedener Nationalitäten in Amsterdam und lichtet jedes Fach einzeln ab. Später setzt er alles am Computer wieder zusammen.
Dabei sind gar nicht die Unterschiede das Spannende, sondern die Gemeinsamkeiten.
