A Human Bird Nest Experience

This eye-catcher looks awesome and comes pretty handy
when you are out of firewood... I'm just sayin' ;)

Crossed stick chair was progressed in order to express the series
of these processes to a work. At the beginning, I had attached the sticks
with various sizes one by one without knowing  what I have to make.
I drew a chair when a size was made to some extent and I had attached
sticks in order to make the shape that I want.

What Would You Do With Your Old Skateboard?

This looks colorfully nice!
Artist Haroshi made this nice looking sculptures from old skateboards.
Well I turned my old skateboard into a bottom plate for my balcony plants, I'm just sayin... ;)
Go the the flickr site to see more sculptures or check out the "In progress" clip below.

Skate decks eventually see its life shortened by snapping, cracking and/or wearing out.
Purchasing new decks is a never ending cycle and this was evident by the tower of old
decks that were reaching to the ceiling of my room. We can’t throw away these decks
because they hold sentimental meanings to us. I looked at these unusable decks every day
and thought there must be something I can make with these.
I decided to make some accessories with the old decks
and this was the birth of Harvest - Haroshi

Graphic Design Is For Artists…

Is this true?
Darn so I can't call myself a true artist? Well maybe this is a good sign... a true artist won't do commission,
he or she only does what his highness wanna do, ergo most of artistas are on the edge of Starving To Death :)
to proud to do a everyday work... I think I'll call me self a Graphic Designer Noob and enjoy my Life even if I make
money with my "Commercial Art" ;) Just sayn...

Oh yeah by the way check out this Gallery of Awesomeness from "DeviantArtist" Jonathan Haggard aka skryingbreath

As you can see I'm fascinated with vintage, Soviet and German propaganda
and tend to apply the most eye catching and stark elements to contemporary
design platforms from advertising to web design - haggard

Oh Brother Oh Brother We Need A Best Of

Simply Awesome!
This Book is not out yet, Andreas Krapf is still looking for publishers.
As soon as it is published I'm so going to get me a copy!
He made it for his diploma in 2009, it has 155 pages and is filled with storys from "Brothers Grimm".
The vector-illustrations are well done and neat. Click here for the whole gallery.

the book deals with the very first versions of the the Brothers Grimm's
tales  which are a bit more cruel than the versions we know today - Andreas Krapf

From The Earth To The Moon

A very nice Book Jacket made by Jim Tierney.
Do you love the Story from Jules Verne? Of course you do,
and if you're one of the silly humans who do not read (yes there are some people who
DO NOT READ A SINGEL BOOK), you're missing alot!  There is nothing like the imagination of your unique thinking brain.
That beats everything! No wonder Zombies like Brains...
Not reading a book ey? Waiting till someone makes a movie ey?!  ;)

The Tablecloth That Turns Spilling Into Poetry

Finally no more Awkward moments!
A very stylish and neat Design from Kristine Bjaadal.

At first glance the tablecloth appears to be a traditional white floral damask,
but it contains the most wonderful secret; a hidden pattern that first shows when wet.
Sooner or later someone is bound to spill, but where this person usually feels
clumsy and embarrassed, he will now feel fortunate. An everyday negative
situation is turned into a positive experience - Kristine Bjaadal
